MICRO IRRIGATION SUBSIDY
Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (Pmksy)
The Government of India has been implementing Centrally Sponsored Scheme on Micro Irrigation with the objective to enhance water use efficiency in the agriculture sector by promoting appropriate technological interventions like drip & sprinkler irrigation technologies and encourage the farmers to use water saving and conservation technologies.

PMKSY (Per Drop More Crop): The focus is to maximize the water use efficiency at the farm level in a focused manner using micro irrigation. Under this program, the centre and state governments provide subsidy to farmers for purchase of micro irrigation. The amount varies across states and based on the farmer.

PMKSY (Har Khet ko Pani): The aim of this program is to increase the physical access of water on the farm and increase the cultivable land area under assured irrigation

PMKSY (Watershed Development): This part focuses on prudent utilization of water and land resources through measures such as prevention of soil erosion, increasing crop productivity, rainwater harvesting, etc.

Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Program: This program provides loan assistance to states to help them complete major/ medium-sized irrigation projects that were at an advanced completion of the stage, thus accelerating the execution of the irrigation projects.
